What this site counts
I use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use this site: which pages they open, where they click, how far they scroll, and recordings of visits. It shows me what people look at and what gets in their way.
Clarity is run by Microsoft. Microsoft may collect personal data from people who visit, such as their IP address and details of their browser and device, and uses it to provide Clarity and Microsoft Advertising, as the Microsoft Privacy Statement explains.
Anything typed into a box is hidden before it leaves your browser. Clarity uses cookies to connect the pages of one visit, except for visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland, where it uses none. I can see what it records for 30 days.
Clarity doesn’t load at all if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or asks to save data. You can also turn it off for this browser here.
Questions about any of this, email me. Last updated 6 October 2026.
